Introducing, Before The Courts

Gain access to personalized legal coaching, procedural assistance, and unbundled family law advice!

Our Mission

Did you know… that 50-80% of individuals in the family court system are self-represented? While you have the right to represent yourself, it can be a stressful and difficult process to navigate!

Our goal is to increase access to justice for individuals who may not qualify for legal aid and cannot afford the legal fees associated with a fully retained lawyer. Let us help you understand your legal rights and obligations to ensure you can make informed decisions where it matters most!

In-person and remote options

We are currently offering virtual meetings with our lawyers and LSC’s. If you have technology needs, we have partnered with Renfrew County Mediation Services to accommodate these requests.

Our approach

Before The Courts pairs you with a legal service coordinator (LSC) and local family law lawyer to assist you with a number of family law related matters. Our goal is to provide access to justice for individuals who may not qualify for legal aid and cannot afford the legal fees associated with a fully retained lawyer.

Let us help you connect with one of our legal service coordinators to get you on the right and find the resolution that is right for your family.
